About Me
Hi, I’m Amy — and I’ve been chasing color and design for as long as I can remember. As a kid, the little 8-crayon box just wasn’t enough for me; I needed the big 64 pack with all the shades. That love of color has shaped my life and career ever since.

In high school, I worked at my dad’s paint store, helping customers choose paint colors and wallpaper for their homes. That’s when I first realized I had a natural eye for design — and that it was something I truly enjoyed.
After graduating from Hope College, I joined an office furniture manufacturer in Holland, MI, where I matched stains, fabrics, and finishes for custom projects. Later, while raising my two boys, I returned to design through a local real estate developer, where I fell in love with blending materials and learning the ins and outs of both interior and exterior design.

Eventually, I moved into commercial construction, guiding more than 50 clients through selecting finishes, reworking plans, and making sure their spaces felt just right — all while staying on budget.
What sets me apart is that I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” style. I design for you — your taste, your colors, your vibe. Whether that’s modern, traditional, mid-century, or something entirely different, my goal is to create spaces that reflect who you are and how you want to live or work.

Design, for me, has always been about more than just how a space looks — it’s about how it feels. And I’d love to help bring your vision to life.
